Welcome to my Holiday Catalogue Highlight post.  I have joined in the ESAD 2017 Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop and am excited to share a couple of projects using some new products from the Stampin’ Up! © Holiday Catalogue, which is available for purchasing from now.  A brief explanation about the wonderful group of ESAD Stampin’ Up! demonstrators is below.  If you would like more information, please let me know.  You may be starting the hop here, or may have hopped over from Sharon Dalton.

It is a dreary, miserable and wet day in Melbourne today so I must apologise for the photos in my post – the lighting was really not great for capturing clear images.

My first project is using my new favourite stamp set – Painted Harvest.  I think this set could possibly replace my Stippled Blossom stamp set as my favourite.  It really helps me to feel like an artist.  Painted Harvest is a two step stamp – making it even easier.

I stamped the Stylized Birthday in the centre in Flirty Flamingo which helped me to position the sunflowers.  For the sunflowers, I used Blushing Bride and Flirty Flamingo.  I have seen the sunflower stamped in so many different colour combinations – the possibilities are simply endless.  For the leaves, I stamped these in Pear Pizzazz and Wild Wasabi.

I love the idea of a quick and effective gift tag to complement any gift, let alone a Christmas gift.  Onto my next project, which is a set of two gift cards. Every Good Wish stamp set provides this opportunity and all I needed to add was embossing powder!

Peace, Love and Joy has been stamped in Versa Mark and then I used the Heat Tool to set the Gold Embossing powder.  I have then mounted it on Cherry Cobbler.

Be Merry has been stamped in Versa Mark and again I used the Heat Tool to set the Silver Embossing Powder.

Two very effective, quick, simple and clean gift cards.

Thats the end for my post today, but I am sure you will walk away with a large wish list after you have hopped all around.  Grab a cuppa and off you go!  Your next stop is Nicole Wilson.  Either click here or on the arrow below.  In case you get lost on the hop (it is a big one!), there is a list of participants at the bottom of my post.

Thanks for visiting and I look forward to sharing with you more in the future.

  1. Rosalie Desmond says:

Lovely cards. Would you believe that Painted Harvest has yet to make it on my list, but the more I see it, the more it is tempting me. Thank you for sharing.

  2. Lou Kitzelman says:

These are all beautiful Carly but my fave is the Painted Harvest. I actually was not a fan but I really love seeing here with the gorgeous colours you have used. When I buy it I will just have to say ‘Carly made me!’

  3. Monique says:

That Painted Harvest cards is so pretty, I don’t think I have seen it done in pretty pinks before. It is great to have some simple easy cards too, and the embossing looks so shiny.
