SBTD Blog Hop Parisian Beauty Bundle

Welcome to our March SBTD Blog Hop. This month we are Casing the Catalogue. I have chosen a Bundle from the January to June Mini Catalogue called Parisian Beauty. I must admit, Paris is on my Bucket List and I do hope to travel here one day.

For those whom are wondering what a “Casing the Catalogue” is, well I hope I can explain this for you. In Stampin’ terms CASE is where you Copy and Share Everything, it’s great to do when time is limited or you have lost that Stampin’ mojo, as all you need to do is take a project you like and you can either copy it straight and simple, or change it up with different colours, stamps or layout.

There are several different cards created by the artists at Stampin’ Up!® which have been published in the Mini Catalogue, so the choice was difficult which one I would CASE. I hope this will encourage you to explore the Mini Catalogue, as it is a wealth of ideas to get you Stampin’.

I made a mat out of Night of Navy and used my Bone Folder to separate the fibres of the cardstock. I then ran each edge over the Night of Navy Ink to darken the edge for when I laid it on the Night of Navy card base. I also highlighted several areas of the mat by dabbing (offical term) the ink pad.

I used the die from Parisian Beauty to cut out the Eiffel Tower in Copper Foil Sheet. I layered the sentiment on the Copper Foil Sheet and Night of Navy after I stamped on Whisper White.

It is a simple card, but looks very striking.

For the centre of the card, I layered a Whisper White Card base after I stamped the border stamp on each edge in Night of Navy.
