Thanks for joining me as we again hop with my Stampin’ friends from around the world. Stampers by the Dozen is a small group of demonstrators who share our love of creativity using Stampin’ Up! Product. We are a bit smaller than normal, as we have two members who were unable to hop this month, its such a busy time.
You may be starting at my blog or may have joined me from Tashana
The theme this month is Non Holidays. I have been so focused on Christmas that it was lovely to just stamp for a non Christmas themed card.
The stamp set First Frost is such a beautiful stamp. It is the “Distinktive” style rubber stamp. This style adds a layered look by only stamping once. It is so effective and easy.
I stamped in Merry Merlot and Blueberry Bushel before fussy cutting the flowers. Each of the flowers is mounted using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped in Blueberry Bushel also, as I didnt want it to add any more white matting.
The card is actually a fancy fold. I started with a standard card base and then folded the top corner down to a point of a triangle. I created a mat with Whisper White and Blueberry Bushel. Stamped a stem in Mossy Meadow before layering my flowers. When the card is folded it lays flat but as you open it, it creates a diamond, as the next two photos show.
Anyway, thanks for visiting. I hope you are managing well through this busy time. Dont forget to visit my fellow Stampers by the Dozen by clicking the next button to visit Sharleen‘s post.
