SBTD August 2019 Blog Hop

Blog Hop BannerThanks for joining me as we again hop with my Stampin’ friends from Stampers by the Dozen.  We are a small group of demonstrators who share our love of creativity using Stampin’ Up! product. We are spread throughout the world and come together each month to share a project, following a theme.  You may be starting on my blog, or you may have hopped over from Tashana.  This months Stampers by the Dozen are celebrating our second birthday or anniversary!  Unfortunately, we are not always all able to hop, so if you are interested in joining our group, please let me or one of the other members know.

I received my order just last week, and today was the first day I was able to play and experiment with my new sets and embellishments.  I thought for todays blog, I would use the same set, two ways.

I used the large flower from the Band Together stamp set and embossed the flower in Copper Embossing powder.  I repeated this on both Early Espresso Card Stock and Whisper White Card Stock.  I also Copper Embossed the sentiment from the same stamp set.

On the Whisper White version I used my Stampin’ Blends in Pineapple Punch and Granny Apple Green to colour the image.  To add a little dimension to the card, I used the Woven Threads Trim.  With this trim, I simply removed the lower over locked section which allows the tassels to be free.

Anniversary 1

On the Early Espresso, I simply embossed and decorated.  The Organdy Striped Ribbon is fantastic by itself, however on this card I used my Heat Tool to melt the ribbon which adds a lovely texture to a flat card.

I invite you to keep on hopping through our groups monthly blog hop.  Next stop is Sharleen.
