Hi and welcome to my blog as I join the group of talented Stampin’ Up!© Demonstrators from around the Australia and New Zealand to explore and highlight new products which will be available on 4th June 2019.  More information about the group from ESAD (Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators) can be found below.

Today’s Blog Hop is all about the NEW – yes it is that time of year – CATALOGUE!!  Our projects are to feature predominantly new products.  As a demonstrator, we are able to take advantage of a preorder period which allows us to get our hands on new product.  I haven’t had much opportunity to spend much time in my Stampin’ Zone of late, so I love that I am able to take part in today’s hop.

You may have started at my blog or you may have clicked over from Peta Stevens.  Please make sure you have a cuppa and can keep clicking your way around our hop – you are about to be inspired by 25 clever Stampin’ wonders.

For my first card is using the Free as a Bird Stamp Set and Stitched Nested Label Dies.

I stamped the image in Memento Ink as I wanted to colour the image using my Stampin’ Blends®.  I used both the light and dark Daffodil Delight, light Calypso Coral and light Old Olive.  After I coloured, I used the Stitched Nested Label Dies to make the birds a stand out feature of my card.  Before I mounted the Daffodil Delight onto the Crumb Cake base, I placed a length of the linen ribbon with white edges before layering with three lengths of the mossy meadow linen thread and topped it off with a bow.  These two products are from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo.  I mounted the bird image with Stampin’ Dimensionals to give it a little height above the ribbon detail.

And I finished it off by stamping the sentiment in Memento Ink.

Because I was unable to choose which stamp set was first on my wish list, I made a second card using the images from Over the Moon.  One of my dear friends loves cows and I think of her each time I see this stamp set.

I stamped the images in StazOn ink before using my Stampin’ Write Markers to colour the cute and happy cow.  I wanted to keep this one a bit simple – just stamp, card and ink – but I am in love with the Stitched Rectangular Framelit Dies, so I needed to feature these too!  After colouring, I simply used Snail® to adhere it to the Early Espresso Cardstock before again snailing to my Crumb Cake card base.

Wow – two very different cards and both gorgeous! Beautiful colouring – and I love that you’ve mixed suites with that ribbon – perfect. And the cows … what can I say … too cute!
