Hi, I am excited to welcome you to my latest blog post, as I take part in another ESAD Blog Hop, this time featuring some of my favourite items from the new catalogue which was released at the start of June.  A quick explanation of who and what is ESAD can be found below.  If you are a demonstrator and would like to know more, please let me know and I would be happy to assist.

You may be beginning at my post, or you may be visiting from Richelle‘s.  I love how active Richelle’s blog is and use this as one of my inspiration points.  Thanks Richelle for sharing so freely πŸ™‚

My projects for today used three different stamps sets (all new in the catalogue), however I have included one other new item which I think is very versatile.  The Glitter Enamel Dots……Wow!  The Glitter Enamel Dots have an ombre effect in four colours – Dapper Denim, Crushed Curry, Berry Burst and Old Olive.

All three cards I have made to show how simple, yet effective flat cards can be.  Not all cards need a lot of detail or added extras – just a clean cut of card stock and an ink pad.

First up I have used Great Big Greetings and Dapper Denim to make a masculine thank you card.  This sentiment reminds me of Star Wars.   It is one big photopolymer stamp and is perfect for a quick and clean card.  The Glitter Enamel Dots add a little extra.

My second card used the Ribbon of Courage stamp set designed by Patty Bennet.  The sentiment I think says it all “Live every moment.  Laugh every day.  Love with all your heart.”  I wanted to show that this stamp set is versatile and although perfect for different fundraising events (Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea pops straight to mind), it can also be used as a pick me up, no reason needed card.  Again, I have popped some Basic Jewel Rhinestones on to add some sparkle.

My third card is a quick and simple thank you card and…..well who wouldn’t want to feature the little piggy!?!?!  I think this will be a well utilised stamp within my collection.

Awesome cards Carly! It was so funny before I even got to your sentence about Star Wars I had already thought how cool it was and a bit Star Warsy!

  2. Kathryn Ruddick says:

I love the yummy glitter dots too! And I can’t wait to ink up my Ribbon of Courage set which just arrived this week. You’re right, that sentiment is perfect for a nice “pick me up” kind of card. xx

  3. Sharon Dalton says:

3 great cards, I do struggle with male cards so that one is a great card HUGE tick from me.
