Last Stamp Club for this cycle

Well as the new Catalogue is about to go live, we held our final Stamp Club for the 2014 – 2015 Catalogue.

We made three cards. I had a challenge set as I have moved all of my retiring sets into a box to offer at a discounted price at my Catalogue Launch.  My challenge was to use only stamps which are carrying over.

The first card used the Swallowtail stamps. To start we sponged Night of Navy, Island Indigo and Pool Party onto Whisper White Cardstock.  We allowed this to dry for a short while and then used Versa mark to stamp the image. For a stark butterfly, we used white Embossing Powder.  I love the look this has by making the butterfly stand out on the page.

Our second card used the Flower Patch photopolymer set and coordinating Flower Flair dies. This was a technique card using the Big Shot plates and placing the top plate only half on the dies. If you would like to learn this technique keep an eye out for my class schedule with classes starting  in July.

My third card was a playful birthday card. It used the Zoo Babies set with the branches from the bird punch. To colour the animals we used the Stampin’Up Write Markers.

Well, I hope these cards give you some creative ideas and inspiration.

Thanks for reading and please leave me a comment.
